B. Jazzy is a multicultural full service salon designed for your complete relaxation
In 2008, Carlise Gill, a very gifted and talented hair stylist opened B. Jazzy Multicultural Full Service Salon based on the belief that if you feel good on the inside and look good on the outside there isn’t anything you can’t accomplish by targeting the natural you!

A hair stylist for 15 years, Mrs. Gill received her formal education from Florida Community College Jacksonville (FCCJ) and instructed at FCCJ in the Cosmetology Department. Mrs. Gill further educated herself by attending Dudley University, in Kernersville, N.C. in 1999 where she was chosen president for her class, she has received certificates of training from Mizani Hair Care Product Line, C.R.A.F.T. Matrix Hair Cutting, LuLu Skin Care Line for facials, and Intaglio Medical Skin Therapy Research for Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, and Light Therapy. Mrs. Gill’s dream was to create a salon environment that would be a blessing not only to her clients but stylists as well. After a long thoughtful process, she put her plan into action and opened B. Jazzy Multicultural Full Service Salon. As with any new venture challenges – personal and professional – arose but Ms. Gill believed in herself and she and her faithful customers, some who she has served as stylist to for 15 years, weathered the storm together.

No stranger to the difficult situations, this mother of 2 who came from a lower middle class family from Port Arthur, Texas draws most of her energy from a steadfast belief that with God, anything is possible. Ms. Gill, who came to Jacksonville way of the military, has seen her dream come true leaving a legacy not only for her children but community as well. It’s all in how you treat people, it will come back to you!

Missions Statement: Our mission is to ensure that our customers experience a salon treatment that will be positively remembered by ensuring that our customers are treated with respect, dignity and tranquility. Being in this profession for many years I wanted to bring together the professional people of Jacksonville and create a space where “beauty shop” was redefined to “classic salon”. Customers should have a place where they can come to fellowship and relax without the usual distractions associated with beauty shops - someone coming off the streets selling clothing/boot leg items, children screaming and running around because parents are not paying attention. Our clients need, and find, peace and relaxation after the job or outside of the home and we are determined to deliver that, while providing superior service. This is the reason patrons always remember their visit to B. Jazzy Salon.
